Another Blue Screen stall on Cold Startup this AM. After successfully restarting, I did a Restart with Safe Boot. Then, Shut Down.
Then, Cold Boot was normal. In Activity Monitor, kextcache was working extra, so I assume it was rebuilding the kextcache needed to run the OS X properly with my hardware setup, due to the Safe Boot. Perhaps future Startups will be normal. All because I added 2 sticks OWC RAM, utilized my Tiger partition to upgrade it (iTunes 8.2.1), and now am back to Leopard only. Note: When adding new RAM sticks, I did receive a bad one, which was replaced. Perhaps some corruption (or mixed up caches) was introduced at testing time ... it did freeze the system once or twice.
