Bruce & others -

I appreciate your comments. This is the first time I am changing from
one computer to another. I want to make sure I understand about the
process of authorization. We have one computer at present, (MDD G4
dual 867mHz), registered with Apple. We want to move the internal
hard drive, including the boot-up drive to a used MDD G4 dual 1.25mHz
in the same generation. What is the order of how to proceed, in terms
of de-authorizing, re-authorizing, and removing and installation of
the hard drives, including the start-up drive? I've installed and
replaced hard drives in my G4 867,,. but have never done a change up
between computers like this. The 1.25 would then become our main
computer for internet. word processing and iTunes.

(In addition, we have a new iMac that we will use only for music/video
work ... my husband doesn't want it connected to the internet ... will
this complicate the authorization process?)

Thanks for your advice,

Mira
