In addition to agreeing with the other good suggestions from the others, I wonder if you need to reapply new thermal compound. I've just ordered MX-2 thermal compound to reapply to my CPU upgrade because of concerns. Re seating the CPU can break a good contact between the CPU and the heatsink. There's plenty of tips on Apple discussions and youtube for doing this: 3-5 mm dot of thermal grease for each contact. http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=9274591� -Mike
