Kasey, The Verify Permissions and Repair Permissions options are not available from either the OS Disk Utilities or the OS 10.5 Install DVD Disk Utilities.
Regardless of the version of Disk Utilities used, the icons show the padlock, ownership cannot be changed, and the Permissions blocks are grayed out.
