Greetings! I am in a 9.2.2 environment...4 CPUs (all G-4s) on a ethernet network, 4 HP printers (one is large format (sheets up to 13" x 19"), a CUBE as a server and a 1 Tb backup/archive device. There is I am ashamed to admit it) one Dell Vista tower also on this network and we share files back and forth daily.
PM 6.5, Claris Works, FileMaker Pro - some of my databases have up to 35,000 records (this has CROSS PLATFORM capabilities that are GREAT), Illustrator & Photoshop are my workhorse apps. So is maclink plus. It all runs great w/o thousands of upgrade dollars chasing the latest software & hardware. Worst issue is web browsing...this is the one advantage of the Dell Vista but email is not an issue on the G-4s. I can't keyboard as fast as the G-4s can process and their processing speed is just fine for the dollars I am keeping (personal income stimulus) vs. spending. Gil
