SSD is the acronym for "Solid State Drive". The first generation of SSDs used volatile RAM as the storage medium. Current SSDs use non- volatile RAM. What you asked was, "Are there any SSD's that plug into a PCI slot?". I believe you should have included the word "non- volatile" to be more direct and explicit.
