A quick Google search for $ 100.00 SSDs did not even find any used ones of
low capacity.

Well, on the G list and older amchine lists many may consider  $ 500 a
substantial investment. Thus some of the controversies that have been
engendered here. This is Low End Mac  after all. A $ 500 Mac Pro ? Hmm. Is
that even possible? I don't think the swap list has had any of those in my
recollection. Is there a Low End Mac without sweat equity of some sort ?
