Like der Bruce et al, I like Brother current.
But... take your time, peruse the normal channels - your local
Craigslist, local zip search on eBay, LEM Swap, etc. A cheap/free
used HP LaserJet or Canon or Brother or .... often beats the cost of
a new printer, especially for "basic b/w".
