Well I finally got my files moved. It turned out to be 3 rouge .iso's I found them by selecting different batches to transfer. This is what was causing the problem. The annoyance is that the darn thing chokes on one file and all the good one don't copy. With over 500GBs a stall here is a rough deal after an hour of progress. So to save the 3 .iso's I'll mount them and re-rip.
