Current OS: Mac OS X (jaguar) 10.2.3 I tried to install XpostFacto 4, but it says it does not support the PowerBook2,1. I tried carbon copy cloner, that did no help, and then came door number 3. I went to the Plist files and removed the model name of my iBook from the list of "Unsupported machines", and when I plug it in, it says that "I cannot install from a USB drive." I also tried my LG external DVD drive earlier and popped my tiger DVD right in, and that did no help. Please, i need help here. My iBook is capable of tiger, (besides the Firewire port which i can overcome later on...) but no matter what, i run into constant errors and nothing works! GRRRRR! I don't have the CD version of tiger, although I wish I did, that would have spared me alot of time. -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
