I hope you're kidding. Hard drives are assembled in a clean room to avoid 
having even the slightest mote of dust come into contact with the moving parts. 
Not only will opening up the drive void the warranty (the original poster 
bought new drives), but it will cause contamination that will lead to failure. 
Spraying WD-40 on the internals of a hard drive is insane. Sure hope you were 
joking, because there's someone out there who will think that's a good idea.
