The "liquid cooler death" is pretty well known by now. Mine are all dual 2gig units so they never had this device ticking away inside in the first place. Still the warning is appreciated.
You mentioned the "annoying red light" in your post. Are you indicating that this is normal? This is on a model A1117 not the earlier A1047. I have both. The A1047 is the one with the screeching fans and no red light. The A1117 is just the opposite. Is all this normal? I am going to follow Bruce's suggestion and get a temp measuring module of some sort and check both units just for peace of mind in any case. Thanks for the heads up on the cooler warning!
