Facebook is for my University they have a big Wall there, my professors are on it too as my classmates are. Also personal friends near and far. Also my favorite TV shows, Fellow video editors, philosophers, artists etc. One friend here in town is having an Opera he composed performed in China. His music is used by the government of Egypt. Successful people are on Facebook. Of course you John can sit there and keep out of the loop. I want to know what my friends are doing. Your preconceptions about Facebook show you know nothing about Facebook in practical use. It took me 5 years to think it would benefit me also. And I am glad I did. Email is as slow as snail mail after facebook. In fact I bet you still only like plain text email, can't see streaming video and your browser chokes on XML.
