Just to be sure about what we are dealing with here, did you do a "Get
Info" on the drive and see what it says for "Format" for this drive?

Yes the get info says. The drive format is Windows NTFS. All I did was plug it into the MBP with Snow Leopard and it writes. After installing the driver on the PPCs it now will write on them also.
