Neither are people. >From some googling:
"dmnotifyd (dot-mac-notify-daemon) is a UNIX "daemon" (sort of a startup application that runs behind the graphical side of Mac OS X) that is part of Apple's .Mac system." -and- "The "Mirror Agent" is the software that keeps your local copy of your iDisk in "sync" with your remote copy. It could be that you had made changes at Homepage and the files had not yet been "synced" to your local copy. If it happens often you can turn off the "automatic" syncing feature." It's all .mac stuff. You can set iDisk to sync manually rather than automatically and see if that helps with the MirrorAgent problem.
