Dunno. What specific fault did AHT catch? Also, as a long shot, look closely at the pins inside the Ethernet socket on the Cube. In one case I was consistently getting results similar to yours, and upon examination I found that one of the wires had been pulled out of the little track it was in and was shorting out against the wire next to it.
