Here is a screen image of the installation panel where Flash is mentioned. It appears 2-3 panels into the install process:

I'm not yet up and running. Although the installation completed successfully I am not able to boot into Ubuntu due to an "Input/output error". I've posted a query on UbuntuForums.org . Here is a link if anyone is interested in following:
