I`d like to slightly vary the question.
I have a prior model which has a 100Mhz
bus. The current processor is 450Mhz.
I`d like to upgrade.

It is my understanding that as long as the Powermac shares the same Front
Side Bus, in this case, a 133 MHz, then yes, a CPU from a later model will
be compatible.
