Well there is a brownish wire in that cable, so that may not be an indicator. The most common cause of a Sawtooth not starting (especially after sitting a while) is a dead PRAM battery. Look on the motherboard for a 1/2 AA sized lithium 3.6V battery and replace it; Radio shack carries them. Before you put in the new one, press the CUDA switch to reset the PRAM. <http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1939> If it still doesn't boot, then it may be the power supply -- Bruce Johnson University of Arizona College of Pharmacy Information Technology Group Institutions do not have opinions, merely customs -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
