I finally found a statement that the processor should be compatible with an original Quicksilver. http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Apple/AGPQS2X1000/ > […] I’m still waiting for users telling me it didn’t work out for them. Haven't found that so far. BTW, I was wrong. The original Dual 800 MHz processor module has 7450 PowerPC cores on in, whereas the Dual 1 GHz processor module features 7455 PowerPC processors.
