In real life, you might not see a huge difference. But it actually
makes some kind of difference. A couple years ago I had a 450Mhz dual
Mystic, 2 gigs of RAM, running Leopard with an ATI Radeon 9000 Pro,
and it was adequate, minus the eye candy. But when I replaced the
Radeon with a flashed 256Mb GeForce 6200, the Mystic just got
unleashed. It ran circles around my 1.25Ghz eMac, which also had two
gigs of (much faster) memory but a merely adequate video card.

I know this is all anecdotal, but in the end the user experience is
what counts. So enjoy your bumped-up system with the blue
lights... :-)
