A while back I bought a 4-drive NAS for the mac network here and
found out that between
a- the file naming issues made trying to back things up a mess
and
b- MAC OS doesn;t play nice with NAS access in general
I have a bunch of partial backup material on the NAS that needs to be
transferred onto new HD's for organization
and, so far, when I try that, the transfer stalls a few minutes
into things and I have to reboot to get control back.
Is there an answer to this?
