I have another card, remember discussing it on this list but cannot find
the card or the discussion. It is not in my G3 Smurf or my G4 Quicksilver
(for shits & grins I even looked in my 8600 despite knowing it was not
there)

A Ha! I found a card with a logo on it and on a chip that says 'Graphics by
Rage 128' and on the chip it also says:
