Stuff happens, especially with older Macs. But I'm wondering if you
have some sort of power conditioning issue. Maybe you're not well
grounded, or your surge protectors have bagged?
Beyond the minor annoyances here, I need
- a MUCh more regimental and rational approach to maintaining the
machines and their backups,
CCC. Several HDs, rotated...
- organizing the mess of HD's here that need to be put in order.
Real men don't organize, they just use Disk Utility's erase command!
I feel almost like the 90 yr old hoarder who has 58 cats living in a
townhouse filled top to bottom with 7' high sacks of newspapers and
magazines in a labyrinth of disorganization.
Get a neighbor kid to do the litter boxes. Keep the papers - good insulation.
