Bill,

<I have a partition for each OS: X 10.5.8, 10.4.11 and 9.2.2. >

I like that idea. How big a drive are you running?

<CCC would be one way to get any of them onto the 350, given each on another machine. >
Carbon Copy Cloner does look like a very good thing to do. Thanks for the advice.

To everyone on the list:

• Thanks! for all of your advice. It looks like either 10.4 or 10.5 (with assist) would work on my Mac. 10.4 will get me where I need to be for right now and shouldn't drag things down quite as much as 10.5. So, • I have two sets of 10.4 disks coming (one on DVD and one on a set of CD's) that were offered at very generous prices from members on the list. • I plan to be upgrading the processor in the next couple of weeks to a 1 GHz Sonnet unit and, • In the next couple of months I hope to be able to get an MDD Mac from Richard Martin (whom I have purchased from before, always a good fellow to do business with). • So, with the improved capability, I should be able to do the business and sales to get to the next level.

Thanks,

Neal Lewis
P.S. The CD set of 10.4 will hopefully go on my 9600 with a 1 GHz Sonnet G4 card. Let's see if that will work ;-) That's something just for fun. WNL
