Many thanks, Cameron. I tend to agree -- can't imagine having a faster computer than my G5 dual 2.3 GHz and am very annoyed at Apple for not supporting their own 5 year old OS 5 while still supporting a 10 year old Windows OS!
Do you know whether the Galaxy S3 will work with a PPC mac? (I know nothing about Android.) I am particularly interested in things like full backup and restore, which is extremely difficult with an iPhone without computer support (Frankly, I can use iCloud for the syncing of an iPhone, but a full backup/restore requires a computer.)
