Hello everyone, My 15-year old original Pioneer optical drive has failed completely. I removed it took it apart, cleaned it which brought it back to life for about one day. Today it refuses to read anything!
Time to replace it and I am wondering what folks are using these days. I've been to the OWC site and see some options for newer drives, but they only function as CD/DVD-rom when connected internally with appropriate adapters. I can live with that, but would appreciate any recommendations from the group. thanks in advance, Bill -- -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
