Without tabbed browsing, if more than 2 users get in touch with you, you can't do nothing more than chat on your workstation. Windows keeps popping up everywhere, preventing any work; you're typing and a window appears, so the focus goes to this new window, and typing continues in this another one :-( Adium decided, for example, just to blink on the "task bar" when a message arrives from anyone. That allow the typer to click whenever he wants on Adium and launch 3 or 4 sentences at once using CTRL-> or CTRL-< to go right or left inside the conversations. GAIM lib is great, keep up the great work, but for a while, I'll have to switch to another multi protocol client, that will allow tabbed conversations on Linux.
