Category: None Group: None >Status: Closed Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Lukas Sabota (punkrockguy318) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Groups are not deleted when account is deleted Initial Comment: When an account is deleted, all the groups that only had buddies of that account should be deleted. If a guest uses GAIM, you end up with all of the guest's groups. Even if you delete the guest's account, their groups remain and you must remove them all individually. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Luke Schierer (lschiere) Date: 2007-04-17 15:40 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=28833 Originator: NO As we are closing this tracker, please submit any feature request that is still valid to http://developer.pidgin.im. Thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Megan Schneider (ciran) Date: 2006-08-17 11:09 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=801517 Duplicate: 822987 (this one is easier to find, so will keep this one, close other) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Luke Schierer (lschiere) Date: 2004-11-27 12:57 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=28833 correct, groups are global, they do not belong to a specific account. simple solution: start a second instance of giam with the -c flag for your guest. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=350235&aid=1074194&group_id=235 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
