This one in particular would need to be somewhere in the ui [which gtkconv is]), and do what the menu item and ctrl-l keybinding do, in the commands callback. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Luke Schierer (lschiere) Date: 2004-06-17 18:14 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=28833 henrytheh, we've bound this to control-l, you are confusing client commands with protocol commands. because the protocol happens to use /command to designate its commands, some (most) clients choose to add additional commands in the same format. the server, and thus the protocol, in irc has no clue what the backlog is, and so has no need of a /clear command, a client on the other hand does.
