As long as I already have JAWS, I don't see why games don't use it. In games like GMA Tank Commander, self voicing is OK, but I would like to see more games like Lone Wolf in which information is spoken using what we already have and are familiar to us. Also, I prefer the voice quality to that of, in particular, the SAPI speech.
