Hello,
I've got Silent Steel and want to install it on my main xp box. When i
try the first thing i get is an error waveaudio mci device driver isn't
installed. I can click ok, but then it says i won't have speech, which kind
of defeats the purpose of having the game. I've done some googling and
emailing andd it seems that these drivers were in the 98 days, but xp
doesn't use them. I also haven't determined if there specific to a system's
sound card or generics. Does anyone know if i can run silent steel
successfully by ignoring this error, otherwise known as a workaround?
