Hi.

Creating sound effects actually sounds like good fun, especially the voice
acting part (I look forward to playing monsters in any games I make). But
for the sounds that I can't create, I'd like as wide a choice as possible,
so that any game I do sources of sound effects are helpful create is unique
sounding as well as (hopefully), interesting to play.

So it's great to know about these various sources for sound effects , and I
hope that people won't mind making them (or at least some of them),
available to potential game authors. Of course buying a library is an
option, and I well might do that myself if I really get into the games
making business, but certainly it'd help people who either can't afford a
library or are just starting out in game making (like I will be when the
Audio game maker comes out), to have a good selection of sounds on offer.

Hmmm, maybe the Audio Game maker site could have a page of links to various
sources for sounds?

Btw, thom, I'll be interested to try out audio asteroids anyway, even
without the special effects Lib (Spaceworms sound entertaining). Jim, I love
the Simpson's samples in your games, having Doe! when I select the wrong
golf club or get sent to jail in monopoly is always fun. I have a few rather
crazy ideas about sound creation myself, hopefully I'll be able to share
them with people soon.

Beware the Grue!

Dark.
