Hi Liam, Don't feel bad things like that happens. It almost happened to me last October, but I managed to have my registrar renew the domain before it expired. Although, I had a few warnings before it expired so I had plenty of time to get it renewed before it expired. I'm a bit surprised though that your domain registrar didn't give you a bigger lead on when your domain was going to expire. My domain registrar let me know at least a month ahead of time that it was do on October 10, and to renew sometime in the month of September, but I waited to October 1 or so to renew.
