Hello Nicol. Without getting into a religion debate let me just say that
it's views like your mother's which turn people from seeing the truth
about God. This is not a religious board so I won't say anything more on
this. I do feel however, that playing games like Shades of Doom which
are violent, is something you need to choose for yourself. You are a
grownup and can make your own decisions. If your mother won't let you
play the game on her computer then you need to respect that. After all,
it is her computer. My wife's sister came to visit last summer and
wanted to install and play a few certain games which I did not want her
to because I did not want those games on my PC. She respected that not
because of my opinion of the games, but because it's my computer which
is a different issue.
On a side note, why would your mother be afraid of demons since she is a
Jehovah's Witness? They don't even believe hell exists. Sheesh.
