Whether I play mainstream games has nothing to do with whether I can play this particular game. This game is the topic. I have not tried this one as of yet. Where I am coming from is this: There have been countless times when a game is made known to list members, and very soon after that, people want a podcast to show how the game is played. I'm talking about even less than a few hours after the announcement was made. The members who want the podcast have, in many instances, either not played it or have given up after just a few attempts, and are already looking for spoilers rather than trying to figure out a game on their own. They want to see how you beat the game so that it is easier for them to do it right away.

Hi Charles.
Actualy, that's just what I did. Spent 15 minutes with the game,
unfortunately I couldn't figure it out. I even asked for sighted help,
but my mom didn't understand it either. As for your reply, how would you
know that I can play it without a podcast? Have you played the game to
be able to judge for yourself? Sorry, I don't need these kind of
replies, you could have invested your time in your work, or whatever
else you're doing instead. If Ken doesn't want to do a podcast he would
have said it. Show some respect.....
A final question: Do you even play mainstream games?

I would think that a podcast would not be necessary. Learn as you play. No
need for someone else to do it for you.

Hi Ken! thanks for the info! I'll be downloading the game now, but can
you please do a simple podcast demonstrating how to play it so I would
have a better idea of what each sound mean, how to know if you're
underneath the bumpers, spikes, etc.
All the best,
Matheus Rheine

Assunto: [Audyssey] Catagugl: An amusing little iPhone Game

I came across an amusing little game for iOS the other day, and though
it's utterly simple I can't seem to put it down. I'm getting a blister on
my index finger
from playing so hard. No, I'm serious!
The game is called Catagugl, and when I got it it was free. Not sure if it
still is or not. Anyway, once you start it, turn off VO, click in the
lower right corner
of the screen with home button to the right, and you'll hear a little
drum-like sound. Then touch and hold, just for a split second, until you
hear another sound.
Then, wind up the gugl by making fast circular motions. The bigger the
circles and faster you make them, the quicker he gets wound up. There is a
countdown. If you
toss the gugl right at the word go, you get a fart. Every time you pass
through a cloud, you get a fart. To actually fart the fart, just touch the
middle of your
screen and he'll fart, speeding him up and giving him a little more
elevation. The higher you toss him, the higher he'll go, but it's about
distance rather than
height. There are bumpers both on the ground and in the sky, and you don't
want to hit them from underneath. There are also spikes that your poor
gugl can get impailed
on. Watch out! T
he more you play, the better your aim will be.
Anyway, the only drawback to the game is that you can't hear your score
in-game. you have to go to game center and hear your rank, then go to the
list of players
and click on yoiur name, and this only gives you your highest score. I've
contacted the dev and asked if there is any way for him to make the score
spoken, but no
reply thus far. Still a very good little game, and of course the kids love
it too.
