Hi Josh, I disagree with that point of view though. There is a difference in someone donating time to say Linux and donating time to a game. With Linux the developer is developing something of practical value that can be used every day for home, work, etc. With a game it is merely for entertainment and there is some question as to how much entertainment the developer will get back out of that game compared to the effort he/she put into creating it. So no I don't think they are equal.
