Well what is a real bummer is I donated the 50
dollar donation, via paypal which is direct.
Its doutfull if I can do that again with another attempt.
I was really hoping this thing ran.
It doesn't look like it will, for those of us
that donated direct via paypal, the cash has been
sent, but as for the rewards I will have to
assume that none of that will come now.
Much less the game.
At a time where I actually could do with a bit
more cash its a blow that this thing may not come in the forseeable future.
Shortly after I donated several equipments for
backup and communications broke using up the
budget I set for the year on upgrades.
Bar a few small things, thats it for donations at least for a little while.

As we approach the end of the Three Monkeys
Kickstarter campaign, we wanted to take a moment
to thank you all for your support over the past 30 days - it
really does mean the world to the team - and let
you know what's what going forward.
Sadly, it doesn't look like the Three Monkeys
Kickstarter is going to be a success. It was
always a risk pushing things down this route, and - despite some
fantastic support from you all - it looks like
we're going to fall quite a bit short of our target.
Our KS target was higher than we initially hoped
when launching this campaign, but it's what we
realistically needed to do the project justice and unlock
other avenues of funding; we didn't see the
point of asking for less, and not bringing the
game to life to the quality we'd intended. Asking for too little
has been a failure on the behalf of many high
profile Kickstarter campaigns, and we didn't
want to put ourselves in that boat.
This hopefully isn't the end for Three Monkeys,
however. We'll be going back to the drawing
board and exploring other avenues of funding, and will keep
pushing to make this audio RPG a reality. We
know many of you are crying out for a game like
this, and we'd dearly love to see it made. We're aware it's
a niche - which is perhaps why we didn't hit our
funding goal - but we'd love to see Three
Monkeys plug a gap in the audio game market, and push the boundaries
of what can be achieved in a game with no visuals.
To everybody that has backed the campaign,
shared, commented or simply taken the time to check it out - thank you.
You'll hear more from us soon.
