I use windows7 64bit. tried win8 and 8.1 but some games did not work so went back to win7. I will get windows10 if I see businesses such as dell's business department and other IT departments recommend and adopt windows10. And I'll wait 6 months to a year before I upgrade to windows10. windows7 is fine for the next year or so I think.

Hi Shaun,

While I tend to agree with you for the most part I do also see why
some people are using XP. I recently purchased a used notebook with XP
on it for the primary reason there are games and some other programs I
have that won't run on Windows 7 or Windows 8. Therefore rather than
running a virtual machine I chose to buy and setup a dedicated XP
machine for that. So can sympathize to some point with the XP users.

Bottom line, though, people who have XP probably don't want to move
away from it because they are familiar with the user interface, have
programs that aren't compatible with a newer system, and as Dark is
often quick to point out there isn't anything in the newer Windows he
wants. So refuses to upgrade until there is some personal benefit.

The main difference between them and me is they chose to use XP
exclusively where I am only using it on a multimedia computer. I'm no
longer using XP for the web,e-mail, office, or anything else of that
sort. Mainly games, music, movies, etc. I would suggest that those
who are adamant about XP do the same, but I also realize it costs
money plus a desire to own the new to make that transition. I'm
through talking to those people because no amount of words will talk
them into upgrading.

Cheers!

xp is not a system anyone should be using at all due to the things

And now there are lots of security issues with it you can't use it
for online games and while you can hack it to update things that will
not last to long.
