Hi Lanie,

There are plenty of good free and accessible audio and text based
games for Windows. As you didn't specify what type of games you were
specifically interested in here is just a few ideas/suggestions to get
started.

My first suggestion is to try out all of the games by Jim Kitchen found at
http://www.kitchensinc.net
there you will find a bunch of free games such as Monopoly, Life,
Hangman, and several other self-voicing card and board games.

Another suggestion is Sryth. Found at http://sryth.com. This is an
online roll playing game in the style of Dungeons and dragons. There
is both free and paid content available, and it is probably one of the
best text based games I have found.

As far as text based games in general if you download the Winfrotz
interpreter you can download a host of free text based games from the
interactive fiction archive found at http://www.ifarchive.org.

To be honest there are so many options that I can't list them all in
this email. I will however point you at http://www.audiogames.net
which has a huge database of accessible games both free and paid. So
it is worth checking out.
