Hi Lori,

There are a number of things that could be wrong here since Castaways
is pretty dependant on several factors. However, the first one that
comes to mind is to make sure you have plenty of peasants to do menial
labor.  The peasants are important because they will go out and
harvest your fields, deliver bread from your bakeries, go get meat
from the butcher's shop,  and other things so your cook can actually
cook it. If you don't have enough peasants  your people will starve
just because nobody is delivering food to the tavern.
