The reason most programs can't read UAC screens is because you have them disabled on the login screen. Turn them on there, and they'll probably work with UAC.

Funny enough, on my one windows 10 test machine, the new version of narrator can deal with the UAC popup well enough, but, still turned it off pretty much immediately.
