Hmmm Brian, having never played the original version it's not overly surprising I didn't know about this. The remake I tried, ----- while as far as I know accurate in a lot of ways, just killed you whenever you touched an enemy, whether walking into it or jumping on top of it.
sinse this seems to be my most common method of death though, perhaps it should be reserved for higher difficulties? In the mean time though I must remember, Panama Jo is not! marrio! though I'd assume that jumping on a spider, snake or brittle skull would be a good deal more! effective than jumping on the shell of a giant turtle? Oh well, who said games had to be logical! Beware the Grue! who's omnidirectional mouth insures that which ever way you encounter him, you'll end up as Grue food!
