George, where did you get the install of Audio Quake from? and did you 
check the box during the installation which says install the share ware 
Quake demo?  The demo allows you to play regular Quake's complete first 
episode, which is about 5 or 6 maps I believe, however, you can play Jedi 
Quake and multi player matches with it which are completely unrestricted...

   They will not be the single player game and will be played either with 
bots or other humans...

   From your note, it sounds like you may not have checked the box during 
install, but get back with me when you can and let me know, K?...
