About Rail Racer, your right as regards the stacking difficulty of tracks, and I agree learning a track until you can get around it well enough is the best way. I do wonder though, if some very basic teaching courses, where you could just try against one sort of obstacle over and over again would be a nice way for new players to learn about things like force fields and loops, ----- rather like the way you can choose which pitch to practice against in Jim kitchen's baseball game.
