Very good Tom. The description of the Car classes sound good. Besides the Drivers stats and ratings the picking of a type of car sounds like your looking to keeping the game open for expaneding. Nice, having a track editing is not a great thing to have in Raceway, but the possible to have different ERAs of racing or the open module willto include Track racing Midgets as add ons.
Just like Top Speed where Cars are being created Raceway will have others recreating past NASCAR season or other circuits. By able to input some sstats as I mentioned in early emails month or so ago.. To be able to edit racers vitals and stats is a plus for those who want to tinker with the Racers data. IN Summary able to get to driver's data and able to improt and export other features to a database would be cool. Even able to change a driver's anme to Tom Ward or Billy Bob, whatever. As you mentioned once start a season you are not to change ting.. Keeping the data as it is through the seson will make the database feature of the game more separte from the game to add later new features and be able to upgrade with ease for the programming and users end. It sounds like you got the structure of the game laydown in your mind. Time to flowchart it now.
