If I buy something that has a 1-year waranty, I keep proof of purchase for a 
year in case it's needed.  If I preorder something, I keep the proof until I 
get the item.  Seems pretty simple.  Here's an interesting question, though. 
Let's say that someone does not have their confirmation Email showing the 
price they gave James North, but they do have the Email that was sent to 
them that includes their unlock key.  Would that suffice?
