Exactly. We certainly hope we do have all the records, but in the 
instance we can't find them the only proof a customer has is showing 
those sales recetes for the purchase.
I realise these games were purchased a long time ago, probably a lot 
longer than is usual, but there are several ways to save that data 
including cd burners, zip drives, floppy disks, external hard drives, 
USB thumb drives, and if a person doesn't have a backup of the recete 
they weren't really trying to insure they had a backup. Everyone has at 
least one of the backup devices listed above.
