Hi Claudio, A few years ago David Greenwood would allow you to use the engine for three months for $50 as a demo. He had about 20 people try it out but no one but myself managed to Finnish developing a game. The high cost was because he spent a lot of time replying to problems and made many changes in the Engine during that time adding features people requested. I think he was not satisfied what the results of all his time and has stopped making the engine available. You can ask him directly by emailing David.
