I've herd about the v revival, that's been talked about for years so I wouldn't hold your breth to much on that one. Although it was a great series I must admit so yes that would be good maybe if they did do that. Still, I know what you mean about modern day tv, for the most part it's totally stupid compared to years ago.

I never really knew about the later series, I just remember what must have been the 1978 version which begins with the destruction of the home planets by the Cylons and the search for earth. Again though, it's probably all available on Dvd now as are a lot of things. for example, i recently acquired the V miniseries and V the final battle, ---- another great old 80's sf program (which I'm willing to bet you've seen), which is apparently going to be revived in the comparatively near future with a new film.
